Unless you are involved in top level national security or matters of particular confidentiality, the silo mentality doesn’t work. It especially doesn’t work when you need to engage or represent consumers and patients.
Associations and Advocacy Groups that do not actually include the consumer despite representing them, ultimately will not succeed. It needs to be an inclusive, collaborative approach and not just a token gesture to tick a box.
The stories and voices of Consumers matter and we need inclusivity, not to be kept in the dark.
